Hi Liz,
My name is Ginny and I have a 16 year old (today)son with Autism. He also is non-verbal. He did not begin to communicate until he was 13. It was an incredible day! He still does not talk but he types and writes with a pen.
He is smarter than most typical people I know. He is definatly more sincere and caring, His name is Seth and he is a member of Foggyrock. Hope we hear from you.

Hello from PA! My name is Militantmom and my son Kyle has PDD-NOS. He's 5 years old and was non-verbal until he was 4. Sentences and expressing what he wants are his biggest challenges. Kyle loves CARS and Thomas the Train too.
Our biggest challenge is him getting used to his new Kindergarten teacher. What challenges do you guys face? Good luck and God Bless--Militantmom

Hi Mary--please feel free to email me. I want some tips on how to divert my son's unruly behavior in the AM. He hates brushing his teeth. He's scheduled for surgery in October. His adult front teeth are coming in and slowyly pushing out his baby teeth. How long did it take before your son's adult teeth began to come in? With your youngest being non-verbal I am sure you can shed light on this subject.
Thanks,
Militantmom
