We don't do the door to door thing...for about 10 years now we just hang out at the church, we have a harvest feast...this year I thing the youth will be having an all night lock down, to keep them safe...and the little ones enjoy the harverst carnival...Besides the heart of the satanic cult is just about a hop skip and a jump away in the mountains east of us...they are up there along with the KKK...so we are safer at home or at the churches...

We're split, probably.

I once had two older teenagers come to the door, they were maybe 16 and 17 years old. Maybe they needed sugar... Daniel did not trick or treat last year, said he was too old, so he stayed home with me and helped decorate the house and hand out candy. He's talking about dressing up this year, though, so we'll see. My 13-year-old is planning to go trick or treating with her two best friends. They're on the phone constantly, coordinating what they'll wear. The two little guys? Of course they're going out! Who could stop them? I have no idea what any of them will wear.
