There Is No Emergency Alert System In Place For Missing Children With Autism Or Other Disabilities!

It is our hope that National Legislation will be introduced by a willing legislator who can make sure an alert system with mandated emergency search efforts is in place for these children.

Ask them for an alert system in your area -- ask for their help in getting federal legislation introduced that will guide states in implementing an alert system nationwide. It is necessary and important that our children have mandated resources in place to help ensure their safe return home.

What type of behavior plan does the school have in place now...so this doesnt happen again?

My son sean has a habbit of walking out of school he has mild autism and if anyone starts on at him (teachers) in the morn at droping off time he will walk off and go home one time i didnt know he walked off i droped off my other kids and the Dep head asked if i had seen sean as he and him had a row about sean wearing a mask to school so he walked out of the playground i said no have not seen him i told the dep head that nothing better had happen to him rushing back home there he was on the door step but the school didnt help that day it took me an hour to get him back to school as he wouldnt calm down and they didnt ring to see if he was at home!!!!
All the what ifs went thro my mind he could have gone to town park anywere!!
