I'm writing on behalf of Camp Tuolumne Trails, a new camp for special needs children and adult communities in Northern California. The camp was opened in 2008 and is located in the Groveland area, just outside Yosemite National Park, The camp was designed and built especially for campers with special needs; our facilities are all wheelchair-accessible, including most of our outdoor trails and other amenities such as the campfire and swimming pool. The camp includes everything that special needs children and their families would need to enjoy a great camp experience. Our camp's philosophy is that no camper should be turned away for any reason, and we will do everything we can to facilitate a memorable camp experience for our campers and their families. We can accommodate up to about 80 campers at any given time and can work with any interested group director to develop specific camp programs. We operate year-round. If you would like additional information or are interested in visiting our facility, please call us at (209) 962-7534 or visit our website at www.tuolumnetrails.org
