Summary Statement:

Although some of Hannah's siblings are active in sports and other activities, nothing seemed to hold her interest. But one day when Brenda Johnson of Athens invited her to take part in a Miss Southern Elegance beauty pageant, Hannah's life changed forever.

Now she is a typical teenager who loves music, boys, talking and being in beauty pageants.

"She's a real chatterbox now when she's around her friends," said CoryAnn. "Most people have no idea she is autistic. She changed when she started taking part in the beauty pageants. They have been a major confidence builder for her."
