There are certainly more boys on the spectrum than girls, by far...but our girls are just as important. Here is a place to share those unique girl issues, connect with each other and support and share.

This is a hot topic and can often become heated as individuals come to the table with strong opinions. This is a place to discuss all sides of a very sensitive issue facing the autism community. Remember, please, to always use tact and respect, regardless of your opinion. It is fine and healthy to disagree with each other. We can all learn in this process if we come with open minds and gentle words.

Just as important as our children on the spectrum are the brave heroes that are the siblings. Although they don't have to struggle with a disability, they live with other issues that are worth discussing.

Grandparents are affected just as the parents of our children on the spectrum and want to support and help as much as possible. Share what works for you, how you help, and meet others with the same heart as you.

If you have some sort of knowledge or expertise in the world of autism that you would like to share, please do that here. Perhaps you've mastered a certain diet, or you've learned a biomedical protocol from a conference. Maybe you have successfully run an in-home ABA program, or you understand the ins and outs of IEP regulations....There is so much to know and share. Post here if you are open and available to help someone else in the community.
