My name is Chris and I am the proud mom of two wonderful children.  Jack is 8 and has autism.  Kailey is 10, nt.  They both bring our family such joy! 

We have tried biochem, pt, ot, speech, aqua therapy, hippotherapy and conductive ed. with Jaxon.  He was originally dx. with cerebral palsy and pvl.  Later, at about 3, he was dx. with autism.  We now completely doubt the cp and pvl diagnosis and believe he is more autistic than we ever thought.  We believe all of him motor issues are related to autism.  What a road we have!  I am a special education teacher and in the past I have worked as a developmental therapist, ABA therapy and am certified in a MSL approach to reading instruction.  I am now hoping to travel to Austin to be trained in RPM, Rapid Prompting Method.

We love to travel, watch movies, eat (especially Jack, although, to look at him, you couldn't tell), create art and I love to write.  I am working on my upteenth manuscript!!!  I love living in Genoa City.  We're smack in the middle of Chicago and Milwaukee and, although I grew up outside of Chicago, this is a wonderful place to raise children!
